Her Name Is Becky And She Is A Craftoholic...

Welcome to this week's edition of Craftoholics!

No idea what the what I'm talking about? Go here to find out more!

This week's Craftholic is none other than the fabulous: Becky!

What crafts do you enjoy making? What is your favorite?

"I like to cross stitch, draw, paint, sew but mostly I like to scrapbook. More recently I have gotten into altering anything that will stay still. Good thing my 4 year old has so much energy!"

LOL She may find herself covered in paper and tied with ribbon before too long!

When did you start making crafts? Was there a particular reason or event that got your started?

"I started crafting in the womb. My mother is very crafty and I had to do what she was doing. While she would do needlework, I would latch hook. As I got older I began to do counted cross stitch. One night, in 1994, I was invited to a Making Memories house party and I have been sucked in ever since."

Wow, latch hook, I remember doing those!

I love the Scrabble style title!

What do you like to do when you aren't crafting?

"When I am not crafting... I am sleeping."

What makes you a craftoholic? What drives you to create?

"I can most times, see a finished project on a blank piece of paper. I am inspired by everything around me. I wish I were better at keeping notes because most of my ideas never get started. More recently, I found google reader and I am addicted. No more magazines for me...all you amazing ladies inspire me right on your blogs!"

What is your favorite food?

"Favorite food.. ummmm... hard to say since I love all food (I have a culinary degree)!!!"

What food do you hate to eat?

"Brussel sprouts, salmon patties.. ewwww"

Oh fun, gingham! And what a cutie pie!

How long have you been blogging?

"About 6 months now. Becky Higgins got me hooked with Project 365. *wink, thanks Becky*"

What do you like best about blogging?

"I like that I can say what I want, share my life, keep up with our day to day, invite anyone to check it out and my most fave... when strangers comment!"

What craft have you always wanted to try but, for whatever reason, never have?

"I have been wanting to try quilling. I have the tool and some papers. I need to be shown, I learn better visually."

Oooo quilling is a good one, that's on my list too!

I love the little touches like the tickets and theater picture!

Oh no! You've been ship wreaked on a deserted island! (Luckily you grabbed your adhesive and scissors before you jumped ship!) Name 3 other crafting supplies that your creative survival depends upon! (Note: Capt. Jack Sparrow is not a crafting supply!)

"My brads, ribbons and Bazzill cardstock"

Thanks for letting me interview you Becky! You are a Craftoholic many times over!

Be sure to check back next Monday when another lucky victim...ahem, I mean crafter will be added to the Craftoholic family!
