Friday Night Fab Five: Hubby Edition

Please note, the following Fab Five was chosen and written by my husband, Chris. I did not write anything, these are his words and his five for the week. God helps us all! LOL Just kidding, he's the sweetest!

Enjoy!

Maggi

*************************************************************

Well, seeing how random it is that I'm doing a Friday Night Fab Five - and how random I am in general - I think my first (and last?) Fab Five will be all neat, random things I've enjoyed this week. So heeeere we go, in no particular order:

Pepsi / Mountain Dew Throwback

Yummy! Subtract the high fructose corn syrup, add in plain old sugar, and voila! Best tasting Pepsi & Mountain Dews ever! I've actually given up soda since I moved down to NC, but I've made exceptions for these two. I also make an exception for this no-name cherry soda I drink sometimes which tastes like a melted, bubbly cherry icee. I wish I knew where to buy a 2 liter of that stuff!

The Communist Party

No, I am not a Communist. But the thought of Karl Marx wearing a lampshade on his head, and The Chairman (NOT Sinatra) holding a beer cup always makes me laugh. Having Fidel, Stalin and Lenin on it also helps! I actually own this shirt and love wearing it out and about to see how many people "get it". They make a girls version, so maybe I'll try and get Maggi one!

in Bb 2.0

I actually just found this while I was coming up with my 5. Different people record themselves playing an instrument or singing/speaking in B flat and then the videos are embedded on the page so you can play them at the same time. It's amazing how it all fits together. I hope you enjoy it.

Charlie & Lola

OMG. Seriously? Take my Man Card away! Unfortunately I handed my Man Card in as soon as I started watching The Wiggles (and subsequently realized I enjoyed watching them). The cartoon is so f'n cute. And the voices nail what kids sound like. Of course it's one of the few shows that children actually do the voices for. Go figure!

Rhythm Games

In case no one heard, I play a lot of video games. I also have a serious love of rhythm games. Rock Band 1 & 2, Guitar Hero (all 24569 versions of it), SingStar (yes, even SingStar Abba), Lips - you name it. Right now as I'm writing this I'm listening to one of my favorite songs from Osu Tatakae Ouendan! (the Japanese version of Elite Beat Agents for the Nintendo DS). It's called Melody, and the band is 175R. Yes I don't speak Japanese or know what they're saying, but it's awesome!

I hope that was random enough for you all! Maybe next time I'll spend a bit more time prepping something. :)

Awesome Friday night fab five!! I remember when we met you & Chris for the first time, Chris was wearing the Communist Party shirt. I also have that shirt and I love to see people's reactions when I'm wearing it.I think Chris should definitely get you one as well!! :)
