Friday Night Fab Five

Hello everyone and welcome to this week's Friday Night Fab Five where I list 5 things I am in love with this week. Five things posted on Friday at 5:00. Not quite night but you get the point, yes? Excellent, let's get started!

1. Netflix
Getting a DVD in the mail is okay but come on, this is 2010 and Netflix is all about streaming...for me anyway. On your computer, Xbox 360, PS3 or now on the Wii you can stream TV shows, movies and documentaries and I love it! Not everything is streamable but they have a huge collection of stuff to watch and thanks to Netflix I have discovered Dexter, 30 Rock, Doctor Who and oh yes...number 2 on my Fab Five list...

2. BBC's Robin Hood
This show only lasted 3 seasons apparently (Gee, thanks a lot BBC) but the first two are up on Netflix stream and this is the cutest show ever. (Okay, "cute" was probably not what they were going for but whatever) Excellent take on the story of Robin Hood with comedy, drama, action and a cutie of a Hood. (In your face Kevin Costner!)

3. Mod Podge

Oh Mod Podge, where would I be without you? I remember my mom using Mod Podge and it was always her go to for crafts when I was a kid. (Her being a big believer in covering everything she saw in paper) Well, she was right. I love using this for collages and what not.

4. The Soup
Some people read tabloids, some people watch The Insider or read Perez Hilton's blog. I watch The Soup. All the news I need to know plus a healthy dose of hilarity. Done and done.

5. Toot

I've been going through some videos of Toot and although she's only 16 months old, watching older videos of her is amazing. So much change in such a short time. I kind of want to throw up. lol

That's my Fab Five for this week! What are you favorites this week?

Awesome choices, Maggi! I LOVE Mod Podge~use it all the time. :) And I absolutely adored the Robin Hood series. In fact, I'm sad that it's over. I know he's "evil," but I LOVE Guy of Gisbourne. I'm kind of obsessed with that actor, Richard Armitage. Yum! LOL
Things making me happy...the Olympics, creating all my Alice in Wonderland jewelry and actually getting it into the swap, thinking of goodies to make for my Alice swap partner, Valentine's Day, and chocolate cupcakes. Hope you, your hubby and the fab Toot have a lovely Valentine's weekend!!!

Oh, I love to watch The Soup. My husband and I lay in bed and watch that and Chelsea Handler. I only like the round table discussions though, usually not the interview. I've been watching The Soup for a long time though, like since Hal!

Toot is adorable!

Happy Valentine's Day sweet Maggi...
Thank you for stopping over and reading my post. I so love to share.

I have got to agree with you on a couple of things here. Netflix...Awesome Movies in the Mail. Gotta love it.

Mod Podge is my life. I have gloss, matte, glitter, and sparkle. I cannot be without it. So love it. I use it for everything. What did we do before Mod Padge?

Never heard of The Soup. So I can't comment on it.

Babies grow up so fast, it does stink. Some days I look at my baby and he just turned 29. Where did the time go? I can remember when. He has 2 babies of his own now.

Kiss that baby, enjoy that baby smell and those baby kisses. They grow up to fast sweetie.

Happy Valentine's Day. Country hugs and so much love..>Sherry

You have such an adorable little girl. When I turned on the video, my cat jumped up and tried to find her in my laptop, every time she did that little squeal of happiness.

Thanks for the Robin Hood heads up. I've been needing something to watch while I try to find my way to the treadmill.

I absolutely love Dexter and the Soup. I also like the Dish on style. It is kind of like the girl version of the Soup. Me and my little boy BK loved the video. He is 19 mos. He was trying to trying to catch her hand towards the end of the video.

Anyways, I enjoy stopping by your blog. Keep up the great work.

I totally LOVE Netflix AND RobinHood!! Isn't Jonas Armstrong sexy! Oh, did I just say that outloud? I love the name of your blog and the design. I wish I could make my blog that blingy! Your baby is just adorable too, of course. Oh, I love Modge Podge too. Thanks for visiting my blog, I hope you'll stop by again and I can help you learn to quilt.
