Yesterday, All My Projects Seemed So Far Away...

So much happened yesterday that I had to wait a whole day before telling you about any of it! lol

First of all, yesterday was Sesame Street's 40th anniversary. Holy cow, this show has been going strong for 40 years!

I loved watching Grover teach about near and far:

And I L-O-V-E-D the skits where Grover was a waiter:

Toot turned 13 months old yesterday and she is now officially over the one year mark, yikes! Speaking of which, when do you stop counting months and just say "one year old"? This extra months + 12 months thing is confusing...lol.

Yesterday I watched "The Edge of Love" with Keira Knightly and is was...eh. But it took place during WWII which leads me to say....

Thank you to all veterans every where for your invaluable service and sacrifice! I appreciate you keeping me free! :D

Also yesterday I finished my Christmas tree skirt! This pattern was actually pretty easy and luckily I was able to crochet on auto-pilot for a good while which is always appreciated (you can't really do that in amigurumi! lol). It was raining here yesterday so the pics aren't great but here it is, with and without the flash (I'm sure you will all notice the sneaky arm in the bottom right corner. Mommy's little shadow! lol):

Now on to the next project! Happy Veteran's Day everyone!

I love Sesame Street! :) I like Cookie Monster...the episode where he wants to find out which cookies taste best - the square, the round, the oval...and ends up eating everything as usual...cracks me up! ;)

Cool X'mas tree skirt!

That tree skirt is wonderful--must have taken a long time (it would have taken me a long time!!!) Love Sesame Street and those videos. We can't keep the Sesame St. books in at the library lately! We are on our way to a Vets Day breakfast at my son's school (honoring my Dad who was in the Army) Thanks for a great post!

For some reason I was expecting to see a skirt with trees on it :D :D As in a skirt for you ;) Love this though, looks like so much work... I'm still plodding on with my practice square and can only dream of being able to do things like that.

Loved Sesame Street my favourites were Cookie Monster and the Count :D I always wanted to know what was in Oscars bin though :D I always imagined a spiral staircase for some reason.

Maggi Maggi, is there no END to your abilities? You did that on AUTOPILOT?? Lets just imagine for a moment, what something I did on AUTOPILOT would look like:

There! Did you see me at the emergency room with a hook hanging off my pinky too?

Thought so.
Happy 13th month Toot! If Auntie Roo were any good at math, she'd figure out how many days you are old and be all clever. But she's lazy too.
Hazzah!
XOXOXOXOXOXO

LOVED the Sesame Street clips! I loooooove SS! My parents would turn it up real loud while I was upstairs and I'd come running down!!! Lol! Great memories! The tree skirt is amazing! Wow, I can't believe you did that! And I don't know when you stop counting with months....at 32 mos???? I stopped at 13 mos....I got tired of rolling my eyes up in the air while counting the months...so started saying 1 year old instead! He he! Yes, shout out to all the Veterans who sacrifice so much! Have a wondeful weekend.

Don't know about other families, but we stop at 18 months. Then we say, "She'll be two in 6 months, etc." until 2 years. After that, only if someone asks for months.
