Sew What!

I totally forgot to share these before! My mom went to the fabulous mountains on North Carolina and although she went without me (whatever!) I was sufficiently mollified by the fabulous little gifties she brought back for her best daughter (the fact that I'm her only daughter is neither here nor there).

She found some neato vintage sewing books and after determining that she was not trying to rub my face in the fact that my sewing machine hates me, I gratefully accepted them and started drooling at all of their vintage-y goodness:

How awesome is my mom???

Oh, Love that book! Vintage stuff rocks! I agree with Julie, the sewing machine doesn't hate you...it takes several tries before you get used to it. I tried several times on my old one before it broke and was getting frustrated, but it helped me to get used to it and when I got my new one I LOVE IT!
