Someone's In The Kitchen With Scrapbooks

I finished a cookbook/scrapbook for a friend of mine's mother and it's off to be given as a Mother's Day present! My friend was able to get a lot of vintage (and current) family pictures as well as photocopies of recipes from her grandmother's handwritten cookbook and other recipes from family members. Here is the cover page for the book and a few of the layouts (click thumbnails to view larger):

This was a fun project to do and it really got me excited for my blog makeover because I think I'm going with a crafty-housewifey-50s-kinda look (with some glitter thrown in of course)! lol

If you're a mommy (whether to human, canine or feline babies), I hope you have a fabulous Mother's Day! I'm looking forward to tomorrow because I'm going to sleep in (thanks Honey!) and Toot turns 7 months old! Happy Mother's Day ladies!

This is just a stunning project! You did an awesome job - your friends Mom is not going to be able to put this book down - I figure she will look through it at least 20 times the first day! Please give yourself a pat on the back - you deserve it!
