Friday Night Fab Five: Must...Have...It...All...

Ah it's Friday! For those of you that work outside of the home, "TGIF to you!" For those of you that work inside the home, "Today is Friday, right?" lol That's the one thing I've noticed since staying at home with Toot is that I can never remember what day it is, which isn't helped by Chris working weekends so I really have no comprehension of what a "weekend" is anymore! lol

*happy sigh*

What was I talking about?

Oh yes! So it's Friday and that means another Friday Night Fab Five! *pause of applause* lol I'm sure most, if not all, of you know by now that when I find something I like, whether it's stuff to create with, a new blog, a new bling or a new person for that matter, I tend to attach myself to said thing and force it to be my friend. :D That's just the way I am and I make no apologies for it! (Unless you don't like it in which case I apologize...) LOL

My point is there are 5 things in particular this week that I've super glued myself to and have no intention of letting go anytime soon. So without further ado:

1. The Bachelorette

The Bachelorette, Jillian

Hey, say what you want about reality TV or how it's ridiculous to think that people can find love on one of these shows but I have no shame whatsoever in admitting that I love watching The Bachelorette (and the Bachelor!) so there! :P Especially this season because Jillian has a bunch-o-losers to choose from...seriously...and it's awesome!

2. Town House FlipSides Crackers

Betcha can't eat just 20!

I recently tried these crackers. There's pretzel on one side and cracker on the other. I don't know about that but they taste so good that I don't care whether or not I can see pretzel and cracker on their respective sides. These are crispy and crunchy and I have to have Chris hide the box so I don't eat them all in one sitting. Trust me...it's hard to not eat the whole box at one time!

3. Ben and Jerry's Mission to Marzipan

Holy crap, this is the best ice cream EVER!

I need something sweet after all that delicious salt... Almond cookies and marzipan in a sweet cream ice cream. Wow. I could eat this whole pint by myself...but I won't...*drool*

Okay, so I've watched my trashy fabulous TV and gained 10 pounds. What's next...I know! Let's create something fab!

4. Gauche Alchemy

This is a scrapbooking kit?!

When I find out who knew about these kits and neglected to tell me I'll...well, I won't do anything but look at these amazing kits! They specialize in vintage-y, retro-y kits and I almost spit my coffee out on my laptop when I first saw them. The picture above is from their "Happy Housewives" kit which I finally broke down and bought today. I cannot wait to get my vintage loving hands on this kit! I also cannot wait to get enough money to buy everything they have! Speaking of which, how much can you make giving blood anyway?

And last but certainly not least...

5. Paper Blooms

Oh my goodness, cutest little kit ever!

Paper Blooms is an Etsy store that has fabulous hand made crochet flowers, hand stitched felt goodies and the cutest little pins you ever did see! They also have a challenge blog which is very fun. She's recently added these mini kits like the one in the picture above and they are so sweet! (And free shipping in the US, hello!) You will be seeing some Paper Blooms making their home with me and my projects very soon! *rubbing hands together in mischievous creative glee*

So there you have it! We've watched/eaten junk and now we have fab things to create with...life is good...

So any new things on your horizon that you've fallen in love with this week??? Do share with the rest of the class and have a fabulous weekend!

Let's try this again...forgot to spell check and it was gosh awful!

Hi Maggi,
I'm a reality show junkie...but I have a really good reason, I'm fascinated by human nature and stupidity and I get an endless supply of it with these shows...especially the stupidity part.

Have a great weekend! And it's a TGIF for me...sigh

omg.... I am Hooked on the Bacherorette and not embarrassed to admit. Did Dave kill you or what? Juan was pretty cute though, I admit. Tanner and his foot fetish, I still swear he is gay- but I kinda like him now! LOL
And Jake, got to love the pilot from Dallas here, plus he's probably talked to John cuz he's an air traffic controller at DFW! I liked Reid too, he reminds me of Chandler on Friends!
Gauche Alchemy- yep, they have my credit card number too! lol great lisT!

I agree with you Maggie, she does not have much to choose from. I sure am glad psycho Dave is gone.

Maggie, you all are so creative. In the town where I live I have not found creative people who get together to scrap.

Unless, it is my age. I may be old but I dont look or act old but people tend to judge. Well got to go! Got to check out some more blogs and then go to a graduation party 3 hrs away. yuk!!!

Love this list...however, I'm not really into reality shows, have celiac so crackers are WAY OUT!, am lactose intolerant (see celiac), forgot how to scrapbook when I got a digital camera, BUT I LOVE YARN! Yesterday, I visited my favorite yarn store, Hill Country Weavers, and fell back in love with knitting...I wonder, can one knit an apron?

I'm a total Bachelorette groupie too! And Jillian is so darn cute. I hope she can weed the guys out and end up with a good one.

And I'm a huge scrapbook junkie. Pretty soon I'm going to need to build an addition on the house to hold all my scrapbooking crap and my books. IT all seems to multiply like rabbits.

Great post. Thanks for sharing and thanks for stopping by my blog. it's always nice to hear from you!

I absolutely adore everything in your roundup of Friday goodies! Those cracker-pretzel hybrids are wild, I've never seen them before (we have about 1/10th - if that - of the cool foods up here in the Great White North of Canada :D that you do south of the 49th), but wouldn't pass one up if offered :P

Love the scrapbook kit to bits and pieces too! :)

Have a gorgeous week, sweetie!
